Introduction

 

GETTING GOD’S PERSPECTIVE

 

In this book, you will explore these five areas:

            • Who Is God?

            • The Authority of God’s Word

            • The Holy Spirit

            • Spiritual Warfare

            • The Return of Christ

 

            As your understanding of biblical truth comes alive through these spiritual realities, you can begin connecting things from God’s point of view.

            The psalmist said,

 

                        Great peace have they who love your law,

                                    And nothing can make them stumble. (Psalm 119:165)

 

                Knowing God’s truth will invite you into a deeper experience of God Himself.  By digging deeply into God’s living Word and responding to what He says, you will experience peace of heart.

                As you approach Scriptures with an open heart and mind, get ready.  God wants you to respond to whatever He shows you and to receive His loving influence as you behold Him.  Self-centeredness, unyielded sin, or lack of trust will prevent God from teaching and blessing you as He desires.  Let’s pray that God will change your life, together with others, as you study His Word.
