宗旨
建立兒童教會的目的是為3歲到12歲的孩子提供崇拜的機會。我們的目標是訓練我們的孩子從小就把他們的注意力放在神身上﹐也學會與神交通﹐歸榮耀與神﹐以及認識神。

大多數時候當你問孩子什麼是崇拜﹐他們的第一個反映是 --- 沒意思。 這是因為大部分的崇拜﹐孩子們只能夠旁觀而不能參與。 使得孩子們認為崇拜只是大人的事。 為了避免這一點﹐我們兒童教會準備了一些可以讓孩子們一起親身參與而有意義的崇拜節目。

節目
我們的節目包括﹕

一起聚集
這一階段提供一些孩子們一來就可以加入的節目。例如﹐剪貼﹐繪畫和做手工等等。這個活動是讓孩子們在輕鬆愉快的氣氛下逐漸進入崇拜狀態。同時﹐孩子們可以互相交通﹐盡情地放松﹐也讓老師們為下一個更為嚴肅的階段做準備。

一起讚美
這一階段是所有年齡的孩子一起唱歌讚美神。這個活動為孩子們提供了一個學習用聲音和形體語言來讚美神。 大多數的歌都是短而美﹐並且易于記憶。我們相信孩子們會長時間地記住這些歌所傳遞的信息。 每個月的第四個星期﹐孩子們將會去禮拜堂獻唱。

一起崇拜
這一階段是我們這一天在一起時最神聖的時間。在這段崇拜時間裡﹐綜合孩子們前半段所學的﹐老師把孩子們集合在一起﹐由老師上課講解有關神的故事。除了主課外(通常是一個聖經故事)﹐這個階段也包括背誦金句﹐禱告和奉獻。每個老師會根據自己的準備﹐以獨白﹐節選 或朗讀的方式給孩子們講聖經故事。這段崇拜時間裡給孩子們提供了一個機會來學習老師為這一天揀選的金句的重要性。

因為我們的班由3到12歲的孩子組成﹐所以我們把孩子們分成3個組﹕ 4歲以下兒童組﹐4到8歲組和8歲以上組。每個組分派兩個老師。崇拜時將會分派第三位老師。

其他活動
除了上述有關活動外﹐為了加強孩子對崇拜的注意力﹐兒童崇拜也有各種不同形式的比賽和課外活動。例如﹐“準時達到比賽”是一個全年的活動。它鼓勵孩子星期日早上按時來到神的家。它也幫助我們減少遲到現象。同時﹐孩子們也非常高興他們因為準時到達而得到的獎品。

每年三次的午餐聚餐是另一項加強孩子們之間交通的活動。這個活動讓孩子們有機會在吃     的同時﹐在一個輕鬆愉快的環境中交通。老師們也十分享受這個與孩子們在一起的時候。

請帶您的孩子來參加我們每個星期天早上9﹕30的崇拜。讓孩子能有機會崇拜﹐讚美神和向神禱告。同時﹐也讓您的孩子和其他孩子一起玩耍。

Purpose
The Children Church Ministry was established for the purpose of providing a worship experience for children 3 to 12 years old.  Our goal is to train our children from small to focusing his or hers attention on the presence of God and responding to God’s presence; giving honor and praise to God; acknowledging God.

Most of the times when you ask a child to define Worship.  The first word comes out of his or her mouth is --- boring.  That is because in many worship settings, children are seen and not heard.  They see worship as something only adults do.  In light of this, the Children Church Ministry has developed a program that allows children to contribute and participate meaningfully in a worship setting.

Program
Our curriculum provides:


Coming together
This session features a session-related activity the children can enter into as they arrive.  This may involve making a poster, drawing pictures, making a craft, etc.  The activity is loosely structured to allow fun and relaxed atmosphere for Children to gradually working their mood into worship.  This session also provides children an opportunity to socialize and making the most of their time apart for the week.  This session also provides teachers with a smooth transition to the next more serious sessions.

Praising together
This session features singing praising song with motions to our lord with all ages involved.  This activity provides an opportunity for children to learn to praise God with their voices and motions.  Most of songs are short and sweet.  Easy to memorized.   We believed the words from those songs will be with the children for a long time to come.  At the each 4th week of the month, our children take the song they learn for that month and   ministering to the adults during adult worship service.

Worship together
This session is the most sacred part of the whole hour that we are together for the day.  The worship time incorporates what the children have done during coming together time.  The children are brought together to the worship area and given a lecture or story about God.  In addition to the main sermon (usually in the form a Bible story), this session also has the components of scripture memorizing; prayer; and offering.  The Bible story may take the form of a monologue, a skit, or a reading of some kind.  It is up to the teacher who presents the story to improvise.  Our worship time provides children an opportunity to learn the importance of the Scripture we are trying to focus for that day.


Since our class consists of children from 3 to 12 of age.  We divide the children into three groups.  Namely:  Children under 4 year of age; between 4 and 8 years old; and those above 8.  We assign 2 teachers to each age group, and one additional teacher for praising time.

Extra Activities
In addition to the above Worship related activities.  The Children Worship Ministry also engaged in different “campaigns” and “off-the-class activities” to enhance children’s tie to the Worship Ministry.  For instance, an on-time campaign is on for the whole year to promote children’s reverence for God by coming to the class on time.   This campaign has helped us to reduce the tardiness to the minimum.  In the meantime, children greatly enjoy the prices they get from coming to class on time.

Three times a year luncheon is another activity to help to enhance the fellowship of our children.  This activity provides children an opportunity to fellowship over a Pizza, Lasagna, or a Hamburger meal in an extremely relaxed setting.   Teachers get to enjoy with the children as well.

Come and Join Us
Come and bring your children to join us at 9:30 am each Sunday Morning to worship God.  Give your children an opportunity to worship, praise and pray to God.  In the meantime, enjoy the fun and fellowship with other children of their ages.
