The Authority of God’s Word
Jesus is God’s loving, living expression of Himself to us. Similarly, the Bible is God’s written expression of Himself and His will for us. Without these two living revelations of God, we could not know who God is or how to find life through Him. Because God Himself authored the Bible and the Holy Spirit is present as we read, it is completely reliable and sufficient to shape our convictions and help us live life well. When we face decisions that could threaten our possessions, careers, families, or lives, we can trust the Word of our trustworthy God to guide us into true and wise choices.
